All I Want Is A Place Somewhere
During the wind of Sandy and the cold of being without power I put lots of comforters and blankets out all over the house so that Siren and Isadora could have plenty of spots to be warm and feel secure.
Siren likes to show off his tail.

One of the cats I used to have (Jerry) loved to snuggle under my bed comforter every morning, right after I got out of bed because it was so warm.

I remember being without power and putting blankets all over..I would cover up the cats and I still do at night...ok that is strange..but they like it now that it is cold..hugs..

When my kitties would do that, I couldn't resist petting their tail. It looked so lonely. Before I knew it, they'd pull their tail in too. :) Poor guys. They were probably even more traumatized.

so sweet ... our two take turns sleeping on the edge of the bed ... its a prime spot for being able to look out the back window while keeping an eye on what's happening in the living room and if someone goes into the kitchen they won't miss that either

I bet those comforters were put to use by everybody in the house during that time (I'd want to bury my head too).
