It's Cooler Under the Chair
I took this shot in July on one of those dreadful hot days.
These seats are at the edge of a tiny traffic island in the middle of a really busy intersection of several state routes.
If the heat doesn't kill ya a tractor trailer will.

HAHAHAHHAHAHA! You crack me up, Dianne!
Great shot! And yeah, I remember those dreadful hot days in July. So glad fall is here!
X ya!
What an odd place for seating.
I certainly wouldn't want to sit ON the chair on a hot sweltering sunny day. Under the chair sounds like the way to go! :)
Jeez! What a weird place for chairs like these????? Terrific shadow shot though!! Have a great weekend! Hugs to you and Hope!!
Too funny! But why put chairs there? So odd!
The shadows under he chairs are not just in temp - in artful design too! I guess we all have to pick our poison, heat or traffic in july the heat is an issue, but year round th traffic in NJ will qualify as danger. The artist braves it all for a great shadow!
Such a cool shadow find!

Have a blessed Sunday!

Too funny! Does anyone ever sit there?
A black chair absorbs the heat that's out there. Ouch!
So, did you sit under the chair?
Hummingbird Heaven
That is nice shadow design.
the chairs made a great pattern on the ground. :)
its rainy and still dreadfully hot here in Trinidad and Tobago
much love...
A wonderful photo!
and now we start loving the sunshine again!
it was a lovely chilly weekend .. watched some of the Emmy awards last nite and got so sick of the 'red carpet' interviewers asking every single person 'what do you think of the heat' or 'isnt it hot' .. seriously... thats as inane as 'who are you wearing' ..
Yup, not exactly a nice quiet place to relax....it makes me nervous enough to stroll down our country road. Not much traffic but an occasional truck or motorcycle that doesn't see me.
Nice shadow but it wouldn't provide much shade for the poor chump who would have to sit under the chair. I know how hot it gets there in July!
How nice that Siren is allowing his belly to be petted! Hugs to him and you and Isasdora!
That's for sure. And that's why I've always said I'd never let a tractor trailer pull my teeth! :-)
Love your humour, Dianne. I have decided to NOT sit there. :))

thanks for coming by and commenting ^_^
Those chairs are smart-looking. I wonder what material they are made of - plastic, wrought iron. Couldn't tell from pic, but love em. Cheers!!
