Hi Dianne! Mia is a beauty and I bet she know's it. Her growing confidence if from her loving environment. Of course Siren is playing a part in that too. Well at least they can be in the same room together. Siren does appear to be a little tattletail though, lol. Lisa
Our fifteen year old was taken in and she taken me in ever since. In fact, all the cats we have been had by came through giving them a home bar two - Rinli's mother (who went wild on the island) and Rinli. Their stories are all on Camera Critters now.
Aw... it's nice to see how far she has come... just wonderful. One thing I've discovered about slide shows is that the first time they run they don't show you the whole thing.... Glad I went for a second go-around. Now I'm off to find your wordzzle at your other site.
Loved the slideshow...the captions are so perfect. A darling gray cat came to visit yesterday but it ran away before I could befriend it. I think our kitty days may be on hold until puppy gets past her crazy stage. Sure could use a mouse catcher! ;)
etk - I figured maybe it was time to have a face LOL
lisa - thank you! I do feel such a sense of good from Mia's progress, and Siren too. I forget sometimes how agressive he was when he first got here. Mia has been good for him. He has been shown that he's not as tough as he thinks he is, she rules him!! and so yes, he tries to get her in trouble lol
jackie - I wish I could have a dog but there just isn't enough room or time to be a good Mom. Mia is very much like a little old lady :)
aileni - I will check out their stories it is a wonderful feeling to take these sweet creatures in isn't it!?
raven - I fixed the link lol I have to pay more attention to my hihidi's and my hihidipi's - what a goof I am!!
shelly - there's a tabby roaming round here that I have been trying to make friends with. I need to know is he's stray or just taking a walk before the bad weather sets in. He's not making it easy though. Mia scares the crap out of the puppy next door. He comes to visit and runs over to her little house. She peeks out and hisses - a long steady hiss complete with inner throat rattle!! he is a lab and about 10x her size but she makes him cry.
melli - thanks!! Mia is usually described as cute while Siren is handsome. I think he likes that lol
Ah, a day in the life of cats. The adventure...the smells...the thrills...the spills...the stairs...the complete contentment of the cat who stayed in bed...who needs adventures when you've got the whole pillow to yourself?
chatty - Siren loves the back of the loveseat, it's soft and fluffy and all his ;)
michelle - they grow to trust and follow so quickly, especially kittens. Mia is older and had a bad time so she was even more suspicious than most cats are
patti - thanks!! my face is happy to be there :) the brothers furr are wonderful!! what a great name. Siren is put off because he keeps trying to make friends with Mia and all she does is smack him.
patti - if only management and cats could ever go together. I'm happy that they at least co-exist. At the start they had to be separted and I spent way too much time opening and closing doors and kennels.
Well, duh!! Of course Mia is thriving there...you're the bestest Mom she could have! Mia and Siren are very lucky...as are you...to have such a lovely blended family!!!!! I can imagine how intertaining they can be.
I too LOVE that you have a great photo for us to gaze at....such a doll!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox I'm squeezing...can you feel it?
ahhh, Mia is a real sweetie. We have a 'Greta', who isn't so people friendly. (loves my son though) Hubby rescued her as a tiny baby from the streets in Philadelphia. Our dog Rev belonged to a couple our daughter knew but when they split up neither apparently wanted the dog and he was just left alone. She brought him to us and we nursed him back to good health. Now he takes up half my bed!
tt - I feel it! I feel it! I love that Siren and Mia are safe and happy and healthy.
crystalchick - it is all good :) with people like you and your husband around. I can't imagine just leaving a pet! People suck at times But Greta and Rev are very lucky :)
Dear Dianne. I have a question. Is this before or after that Mia wolfed down all those chocolates and peanuts. She sure is a little pudgey, eh? Bernie just got up for work and he wonders what I am laughing at! This slide show is so funny. Poor Siren's nose is still out a joint,eh? What a tat-a-tale! A regular stool pigeon that kitty is! WERE your car keys in that big purse by the way? You had better watch it. That Siren will get a hold of them and drive that kitty out to the country and drop her off!!
You know Dianne... As I looked at these pictures it just make me wonder so much how anybody could abuse such sweet innocent creatures!!!
Have a good week...love Terry
PS Do you think that I could borrow Siren and Mia for the Blogger Pet post that I am working on? The deal is is that I get Mr. Jim's Adi to pick up all the pets, and fly them over to Canada for a little visit. I have done it one other time and the dogs and cats had a blast. If you would like to see what I did, just look at my blog of "Georgian Dog In A Cold Autumn Sunset" and the labels, "Blogger Friend Pets" will show you! That is if you have time Dianne!
terry - I LOVED the Georgian Dog ... post. Mia and Siren would love to be included!! You can either take their pics off the sidebar of my other blog or e-mail me if you want something different. Glad you liked the slideshow LOL and yes! I could see Siren trying to "lose" Mia somewhere. It's not really his fault, he tries and tries to be friends and all she does is hiss/growl and eventually if he doesn't go away she attacks him. One night she had him so bad his collar came flying off!! she is actually very tiny - under 5 pounds, it's all her hair that makes her look bigger :)

She's lovely. I'm more of a dog person myself, but Mia is a beauty, even I can see that!

You have a pair of very pretty cats. Clever slideshow.

Our little kitten is still quite the nervous one herself. She's about three months old now. Glad yours is starting to warm up.
(The video wouldn't load on my end).
bobbie - thanks:)

Hi Dianne,
I agree with etk that it's fun to see your face. Not that I show mine too often!
Love the kitty slideshow. Mia is a beautiful cat. That Siren must be the jealous type.
I agree with you about the adopting of rescued animals. We adopted the Brothers Furr in January and they are so much fun to have around.
;-)
patti - thanks!! my face is happy to be there :)
the brothers furr are wonderful!! what a great name.
Siren is put off because he keeps trying to make friends with Mia and all she does is smack him.
Your cats are very witty and adorable :)
Mia needs a bit of anger management training?
haha
Cats are a riot. I'm glad I finally found that out in my old age!
pink - thanks!! they get that from me LOL
patti - if only management and cats could ever go together. I'm happy that they at least co-exist. At the start they had to be separted and I spent way too much time opening and closing doors and kennels.
Awww, how cute! Pets are great. I don't know what I'd do without my dog.
just me - they are such important parts of the family :)

I really loved this.
Mia is precious!
