Looking At The Sky On Friday: The Sun's Struggle

It was a gray day with on and off rain showers. Each time the rain stopped the sun would try to come out.

I love bare trees. There is so much drama and beauty in the way the branches reach and twist.

Mid Week Blues: Getting Artsy Fartsy at the Car Wash

I was going through the car wash and thought how pretty the brushes looked hitting the windshield ...

In this shot I saw some images - a penguin and a bat...

I am an endless source of amusement for myself.

Camera Critters: A Meeting of the Bird Brains

No, not Congress.

Hey, who called this meeting? Who's in charge here?

We're here! Don't get your tail feathers in a knot.

I don't know Sam, they look pretty organized to me.

Let's just ignore them.

Oy! So much drama.

Ruby Tuesday: Shoppers, Start Your Carts!

click to enlarge - it looks better

We are well into the 90 Days of Christmas. Displays and commercials appeared before Halloween.

All the stores are having "super sales" and "uber sales" and "open early/close late" and .... blah-blah-blah

It's so obnoxious.

Stay above the fray my friends.

Mellow Yellow Monday: The Show Off Tree

I love this tree, she is so boldly different from the crowd she hangs with.

The fall color has been fleeting here. Due to warm weather and lots of rain the green stayed longer. Then sudden cold turned the leaves but more rain accompanied by high winds took the leaves away too soon.

Made this tree all the more special.
