I enjoy the snow person - it looks like a giant ice cube lit up from within. The decorations are subtle, adding a quiet, dignified holiday look to your home. Lovely!

I love the snow man. Very unique... and he has that jaunty red hat. Pretty house.

Dear Dianne,
These are such good night shots.
I tried getting some myself on Wednesday night at Mom Golden's apartment building. I really must get to know the settings. They didn't turn out too well, but maybe I will post them anyways.
These are so nice!!
I hope that you will be feeling better soon. I just, out of the corner of my eye noticed your Dec 11th post, so I will read it...Love Terry

Cool snowman, and with a red hat!

ralph - we have always done very subtle decorations - that might change when the baby is around lol
I may end up with one of those giant blow up things I hate so much ;)

raven - thanks!! he is a smart fella my little snow guy ;)

cherie - yep - all day!! lol

terry - I had to do a lot of editing on the shot of the whole house - as soon as I got outside it started raining lol, than cars went by and all the motion detector lights came on and ruined the background - I would have tried some more but the light drizzle turned into a downpour in a matter of moments

jay - thanks :) I like him a lot, he has style

Love that snowman! If he goes missing one day, you might look for him down our way.

bobbie - lol!! he'd probably enjoy a trip 'down duh pawkway'

this is so pretty...it makes me want to sit out there at night with a warm drink and watch the lights twinkling against the stars above. Assuming of course that it isn't snowing...then I'd have to watch from inside!
I love the snowman...what a gorgeous red hat!

Mine's up too..

How fun to see the RUBY hat on your Snowman. The lights look quite festive too. I played today at Small reflections.
Hugs and blessings,

Very neatly decorated, with just a snowman's touch of red to fit in the Ruby day.
I like white lights, and just enough lights like you've got here.

Hi Dianne,
I loved your snowman last week; but he is really wonderful lit up!

White lights are my favourites (I don't know why) and is especially nice on the bushes next to your white house. The snowman is a wonderful addition. Happy RT!

Great snowman! I've never seen one done with cubes before, and red hat really stands out. Looks like you're having fun decorating. I sure hope you're feeling better.

Very pretty without being too much. Hope you are feeling better...

The snowman is looking real handsome guarding the door to your place :)
The red top hat is suiting him perfectly for sure!

Thanks for your kind comments ! you have a lovely decoration. In our street people just decorate their windows, some put garlands around a tree, but not more. It's not (yet) the use here to put something in the garden, it comes slowly slowly

carletta - thanks!! lights do make all the difference

EG - I think white lights are a bit like snowflakes, they make everything seem more magical

mymaracas - I feel much better! thank you so much :)

rambling - I do feel better, thanks
subtle decor is something I admire

napaboaniya - and we can see his red hat inside too, just peeking in over the window sill :)

I'm going to have to research that now :)
