Wow, Dianne, The top photo is great for SOOC, and all the shots have wonderful shadows. In the last one, I love the tree silhouettes.

Great backboard shots. Works for both memes.

Nice catch of the shadow.
I hope that the English on my photoblog is not too weird or funny... My own language is Dutch, so it's not that easy ...

Hello Diane! Great capture of the shadows....it reminds us of a big (square)snake charmer's basket....with a gigantic snake dancing out if it!

I like your shadow shots. Today is the first time I've ever come across the "Straight Out of the Camera" series.

That first shot is wonderful and has an air of mystery about it. Well done!

Nice cozy shots, did you shoot any hoops?

Great shadow shots. Looks like a giant spatular ready to scoop up any players on the court. Maybe that's why there's nobody there? ;)

love that you took one during the day and then again as night was falling - very pretty

These are fab. I love that you've posted the two different versions of the hoop shots. Really interesting. And clever! Both are beautiful. All the colours in the middle shot are cool to.

I guess it is pretty cold so noone feels like having a game. I like the lighting in these shots. It really sets a mood.

I like the one that is facing the sun best. It has an almost cool feeling to it :)

rosebud - thank you :)

jan - thanks!! I like the light in the SOOC shot and I too like silhouettes, these came out better than I expected

bobbie - thanks :)

mamapippa - I follow your blog just fine! you do far better in English than I could ever do in any other language
besides - photos need no language :)

richie's - thanks so much!!

summer kitchen - I love when people see things in my photos - very cool!

sherry - thanks for coming by- I like SOOC - makes me work more to get it right the first time :)

hot fudge - thanks!! the sun glare was making it difficult, I'm thrilled that it came out

sherrie - it was very cold - about 15F - the sun just made the light look warm :)

claire - thanks!! I'm working on judging the light better

PJ - when in HS I played - I was the tallest in my class. now I'm lucky if I manage not to drop the ball

twinkle - a giant spatula! love it!! it was too cold for anyone to be there plus the kids were all in school

rebecca - they were all taken within a few moments - it's just that a huge cloud came and blocked the sun

hey harriet - thanks!! the court is new so the colors are all still so vivid

magiceye - thanks! and I almost tossed that one - I'm my own worst critic

EG - I love the lines and colors of this court too, thanks

gallery - it was freezing cold - I was the only person in the entire park
the sun and clouds cooperated for light effects :)

pagan - challenging my eye is my new thing, thanks for all your encouragement :)
