Sepia Scenes: Pave The Way

There is a small patch of paving blocks in my back yard. They are all that's left of the original back walkway and side patio.

I think they're beautiful. We power washed them and stabilized the few that were loose.

So many people are so eager to replace but I like a bit of history and character.

Pretty fancy! They would make a nice garden edging too.

Beautiful picture. I like the weathering and age marks here too.

I agree with you - I like the style of the older stone/brick. I am also a fan of sepia. The pattern of the stone catches my eye also. Nice shot.

The works and crafts behind these stones, so beautifully laid in pattern amazes me.
Sepia adds class.

The blocks you show here are perfect, they line up square and true. A bit of history, the sepia 'stone' adding class to your yard. Who needs a granite walkway, anyway??

It was right under your nose...that's perfect, Dianne, especially the sepia tint.

I agree this is worth keeping. I don't see how anyone can improve on it!
