Shadow Shot Sunday: Hope At The Changing Table

I hope I'm not becoming an annoying Nana with too many grandbaby photos but I love photography and I love Hope so ...

Hope hates to be changed. Not just her diaper, any changing - new bib, new shirt, heaven help us when it's a full costume change!

I don't have a good shot of the full out drama of the pre-change moment. I just can't stop to take a photo when the flailing and shrieking are mind numbing.

Here she is just before the moment all hell breaks loose. Her diaper was a disaster and this is when I set her on her nifty changing table which is attached to the portable crib that Nana uses when babysitting.

The flailing is just winding up and the soft whimpers are quickly being replaced by shrieks that make the dog next door run inside.

And then a clean diaper is secure and a dry bib is tied.

And all is right with her world once more ...

She's so darned cute! And will continue to grow more beautiful with each passing day, I'm sure.

You have cats and a grandbaby. I can't have either. Cats ever and a grandbaby not for a long time. pffffff

Annoying with pics of Hope? Not hardly! Quite frankly, I'd expected to see a lot more. Bring 'em on. :)

How could it possibly be annoying to see and hear about this precious child?
She - and her shadow - are lovely, always.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out as Hope grows up. :-) She sure is lovely, even when a shadow crosses her face.

Hope is so beautiful! And what terrific shadows she does cast! And how much fun her Nana is having! Even at the changing table!

Have a great day, Dianne!

Somehow or other, a shrieking infant is far more acceptable than a shrieking teenager! LOL
What a sweet little girl!

What a cutie. Lots of infants in my life right now also.

Three nieces expecting within a few weeks of each other. First just delivered and the second is overdue with the third due in two weeks. Plus I get to be the substitute babysitter for the children next door and will have them several times this week.

Have to admit they are all more fun then I remember my own being. It must be because i get to send them home at the end of the day.

Thanks for stopping by my place.

Well, clearly she isnt going to grow up to be a stripper .. I wonder why this bothers her so, I must talk with her .. being a Fashionista means changing clothes, looking turned out .. and I know she has it in her ...

I had a baby like that. It's not easy, but "high-needs" children are frequently VERY intelligent, along with their heightened sensitivity. It will be very rewarding to see how she grows. Not a lot of sleep for the parents, I predict, but a great and worthwhile experience to navigate.
