Hey, terrific shadow shots, Dianne! They're really sharp and clear, most of them this time of year look more murky than sharp! Amazing where you find them though once you start looking! Hope you've had a good weekend so far!

Nice shots! You must have got up prettty early in the morning for that....or it was Sunday and the place must have been closed.

The shopping cart collection devices make impressive shadows full of arcs and lines - who thought that boring steel tubing could make such artistic shadows?

The light in the bottom pose is great, I see an oddly shaped bird hovering on the wall, the imagination at work...Happily you were not just here to shop!

I love the art you find in everyday subjects! The top three, in particular, are beautifully abstract. Love them!

I really like this set! Especially the simplicity of the black shadow crossing over the white lines in the second one! These are neat!

I thought this is in a hurdle field. He he... am going silly this week-end while analysing all shadow shots!

Very clean and cool set of shadows.

Job well done, D...

Wonderful shadows. The most ordinary things do create exciting patterns for us.

Look what you did with those mundane cart railings, Diane? Fantastic shadows! I see those all the time and never am talented enough to see a great photograph! Thanks for your good wishes! The procedure went very well! :)

Great shadows in that parking lot but I don't see any cars. Caught by the recession of just early morn?

I see a UFO hovering in the last one.

The shopping cart returns make great shadows, and I know how you always go for those lines and angles.

;-)

With a few loops thrown in for good measure.

Love the interesting lines in that first shot.

I know I have an over-active imagination, but I'm imagining the hug, hug, HIGE flower that's casting a shadow on the building in the third and fourth photos.

Great shots Dianne. Once you start looking shadows are everywhere.
Re: the Seven Dwarves - yes, Slushy and Grubby were two of them along with Sniffy, Pokey, Gropey, Slobbery and Misery ;-)

Love these .. especially the first .. I am preoccupied with angles .. I think part of its due to the shadows they create .. super stuff!
