Weekend Reflections: I Wasn't Expecting A Head

I was in a relatively secluded spot at a local park hoping to catch some squirrel or bird photos. I noticed the other car but didn't think much of it - sometimes commuters will park there when the station lot is full hoping not to get towed or ticketed.

I was standing outside my car looking for some motion in the trees when I saw something move by the car ... it was a head.

This guy was just standing there against the back of the car. He never turned when he heard my car. I wonder if he heard me talking to myself? Maybe I startled him as much as he startled me.

The reflections in his car windows were a bonus I didn't notice until I uploaded the shot.

Oh geeze, I would have jumped out of my skin! Great reflections, and I love your treatment of this photo. That little pop of blue is perfect. Kathy

Yikes. You did get a cool shot though. I like how the blue really stands out.

Surprise, surprise! I like your window reflections, they are prettier than straight ahead.
I snapped a reflection shot driving across our lake this morning, and I have a bunch in reserve, I might ought to join your crowd.

Thanks for peekikng in on my sports bar scene and the TVs.
I'm checking your other blog now for 6WS! That is a fun meme too.

I studied the photo before I read the text and it took me a while to figure out that was some guys head. I thought it was some large, strange bird. LOL! Neat shot, Dianne.

the texture on his head blends in nicely with the trees, almost like camouflauge if it weren't for the blue color, which is really nice.
I love how Winter can produce these nearly monochromatic looking shots.

How funny! I've had the bejezzus scared out of me that way before ... from both sides. LOL Good shot! :)

I had to enlarge the photo to really see if it was a person's head. LOL!

I love the reflections on your car.

I've been wanting to take a picture like that but my Jeep has been too dirty. :)
Great reflection!
From the looks of the top of his head I'd say he better get a hat.

You know that it took me a few seconds to find out what you were talking about, I couldn't see any head, hehehe ! It's so mingled in the trees, I didn't see it and I also was looking for a bird !! the reflection is great !

Interesting shot. I wouldn't worry about him hearing you talking to yourself. If you want an intelligent conversation, sometimes it's the only choice.
