Mid Week Blues: Tennis Anyone?

My town has a nice tennis/swim club. There is a modest membership fee and the facilities are good. It's located within the town's main park.

I went by there in January and got these shots. I tried to go by again to see what it looked like covered in snow but the road in was a mess.

I love the second one, there is the contrast of the green grass and the blue tennis courts, and then that gorgeous blue sky!

Not playing tennis myself, I wonder if blue courts are common. I always see green or even red, but not blue. I would like to learn to play someday...but I need to find a partner with the same desire first.
Thanks for posting Diane!

The pics are great in their own right but the blue courts make them outstanding to this silly old fool.

I may get a new digital camera shortly.

I may well not post any pics....I would say "You de man!" but that would not be exactly right...;-)

Yo listen up here's a story

About a little guy that lives in a blue world
And all day and all night and everything he sees
Is just blue like him inside and outside
Blue his house with a blue little window
And a blue corvette
And everything is blue for him and hisself
And everybody around
Cos he ain't got nobody to listen to

I'm blue da ba dee da ba die...

I have a blue house with a blue window.
Blue is the colour of all that I wear.
Blue are the streets and all the trees are too.
I have a girlfriend and she is so blue.
Blue are the people here that walk around,
Blue like my corvette, it's standing outside.
Blue are the words I say and what I think.
Blue are the feelings that live inside me.

Carol is reading your blog like no other - she's not a bloggy person. She don't half seem to like peeking into here though!

I loved playing tennis when Kaishon was a baby. I am going to pray that I will be able to play tennis again this year. That would be great!

Looks like the park is well kept!

I like your blue tennis court. Surely they would have swept off the snow so people could play. That blue would look nice with new clean snow. Too bad you couldn't make it over there. :)
Happy MidWeek Blues. I will go into town Sunday for church and will ask our guard, an off duty policeman, if he knows about the owner of the rig with the dog.
Poor soul. I feel it was a run-away and he will go home or be counseled before dark. I looked in the store for an obvious owner, I should have waited outside.
