I took this shot while stuck in the traffic jam created by a lunch time summer concert series. The truck for the band and several police cars were blocking the street. All the parking spots along the park had been roped off so the already intolerable parking situation was now impossible. Only a handful of people were actually listening to the music, everyone else was trying to get in or out.
I think planning is an issue.

Traffic jams are terrible but especially in the heat of the summer! Glad you got out of that!
Sounds miserable. I feel for those stuck in the jam, and for the performers trying to do a gig under those conditions. I wonder who they were...
I'm sorry to hear you've not been well Dianne. I hope your posting today means that you're on the mend again.

Well, at least you had something interesting to listen to and look at while stuck in the traffic. What a gorgeous vista!
So sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well. Hope you'll be up to your blogging self soon again.
Thanks so much for being a part of Summer Sundays! Looking forward to having you with us next Sunday too!

GAH ... almost nothing worse than a traffic jam in hot hot hot weather
Bleh, traffic! Nice photo though.
Hope you are feeling better real soon!
Slow people down enough and they can hear the music. Like stopping to smell the roses?
Okay, Dianne, you didn't deserve that when you're not feeling good. I am sorry (even if I am still grinning).

That is all the better I can sing. A Yankee choir director (in my New Hampshire life) said I have a bad ear and I shouldn't be singing where people can hear me. I.e. in his choir.
I am surprised she could say Richard. KP sure couldn't.
Theirs may be the intelectual book learned generation. KP's favorites are her books too.
She was one on July 16th. I have posted some pictures taken of her party. None of her friends could come because she's in London now.
..
At least you got yet another great shot!!!!
Hope you're feeling better really soon x
