Before The Fall

I took these shots a couple of weeks ago at a local garden park.

I'll be going back soon to check out the pumpkins and the mums.

How pretty! Love that last burst of summer color before the pallet changes for fall.

How beautiful!

I'm wondering what mums are though? (must be one of those cross-pond things)

I really enjoy the middle picture - not much red on the flowers but what ruby exists - it almost overpowers every other color in the frame. All the flowers are stunning!

What beautiful flowers...love the pastel shades. And the ruby red one is quite regal looking! Enjoy the day! You have great photos on your blog!

I wished I could keep the flowers the whole year long ! I hate fall and winter !

OK, thanks for the explanation. I think this is a really COOL pond difference.

So you shorten chrysanthemums to 'mums'. We shorten them to "chrysanths". For some reason that difference has made me smile :)
