Trees are poems that earth writes upon the sky

quote by Kahil Gibran

This is one of my most favorite trees. She sits on a busy street by a church, near a monument and across from many shops.

She provides a wide area of shade and shares many shadows with everything around her.

The Roll of Honor looks so nice where it stands - the shade may evoke the sadness, but the sun on the Roll adds the brightness they brougt to those they loved and the freedom we still enjoy as a result of their loss. It is really beautiful, and lovely for SSS!

That is a lovely tree, with such a full shape. She has been around for a while!

Like Ralph I also like the shadows on the honor roll from World War II.

The town looks so pretty.

Lovely shadow scenery!

Sounds strange, but that tree kinda makes me think of a loving grandma, and her shadows are her arms lovingly reaching over all that come around her. Lovely photos.
