The song the Electric Slide is danced to as adapted from "Electric Boogie," which was written by Bunny Wailer, aka Neville Livingston. Livingston was a reggae singer and composer who gained fame singing with his half-brother, Bob Marley, in the reggae band The Wailers. The song wasn't copyrighted until 1982, six years after it had become popular. It was released in 1989 when the dance craze gained a greater following.

I took major liberties with the song to suit the photos and the way children feel about the big blue slide.
