Working Hard for the Holiday

A church in my town has a Nativity Scene with live animals. I stopped by there early one morning right before Christmas to visit the animals.

"I know you have food in your pocket"

"I like big butts and I cannot lie."

"My grandfather was a zebra"

These sweeties spent all their time wrapped around each other

"Yo! Wise Men! I think my water broke"

LMAO,,.

Yes, the older I get and the wiser I become, it has occurred to me when looking in the mirror that big butts are okay.

These animals know their parts, and play them to perfection. The manger scene seems dynamic due to the animal's presence. The have the inquisitive look at the photographer of kids (the human kind, that is :)

A fun visit, the tame animals just acting naturally...

Lovely idea. What handsome animals they all are. I love the floppy ears on the goats - or are they sheep?

Dianne,
You put such a delightful spin on the Nativity Scene...I loved it! I'm certain those are the thoughts the animals had when they accompanied Mary and Joseph. :)

I like the 'zebra' shot, the shadows enhance the spots in the fur, cool!

Now that is funny...I had a friend that started with two pygmy goats one year, in a few years time he had a herd...prolific lil' buggers, but cute!

Haha. Funny to see the "people" behind the fencing...makes them look like they are the one caged.
