Twisted Flags

What do you get when you go to the Jersey shore right before Hurricane Irene arrives?

Flags being punished by the wind.

I was trying to see how dark the distant clouds were by hanging out of my car window upside down. I saw the flags instead.

A lot of power in this shot, you can really sense the wind.

The kids are off to a great start this year, thanks for asking.

I hope the flags weren't too ravaged after Irene went through.

Irene has brought minimal damage to our part in PA. still, a nice picture.

Wonderful catch. Glad you were hanging upside down in your car and not on a mountain top. Ooops! Better watch what I say or next we will be viewing upside down pics from Mount Sumeru. Cheers Di!!

Hopefully Irene was not too mean to you. I can't believe how bad that storm after Irene was with all the flooding! I didn't see that coming.

I don't know much more about Lilly, but I'll keep asking around.
