Autumn is my FAVORITE time of year. More colorful than springtime. Absolutely the best. Great shots! Cheers Di!!

Wow, that's real colorful ! Our trees are still green and the flowers blooming which is very unusual for mid-October normally they also should look like yours !

What beautiful colours! I know you've told me before you envy me my grey skies, but I totally envy your blue ones!

Hugs to Hope and to you! :)

Beautiful fall color -- love the carpet of red leaves in that one picture (esp. since I don't have to rake them!).

It is so pretty, I just wish the leaves were not so fast to fall and we could enjoy the color more.

DON’T LET THAT SCARLET GO TO YOUR HEAD

Don’t let that scarlet go to your head!
Be very glad you haven’t been bled!
Give thanks for the color dear to your heart:
Carmine and cherry and wine— a good start!

You found lots of lovely bits of color! Love the vertical nature of those splendid multi-colored trees at bottom - they look like they are putting on a show.

STUNNING captures, Dianne!

HOLY COW...the colors are GORGEOUS!

I LOVE this time of the year!!!!

And it amazes me how much the leaves are changing in your part of the north east, because I hardly see any here in Philly.

Thanks for sharing the beauty, dear lady!

How lucky you are to be seeing all these gorgeous colors. Here in Interior BC it's still mainly brown and mossy green. Thanks for the glorious views!

Beautiful colors, especially that last shot. I don't miss the cold (or really even the cool of fall) but I do miss the changing of the leaves. Thanks for letting me share in a bit of it.

Nice! I went for a visit in early September to my daughter in Boston. Missed all the changing colors this year.
They just went on a train ride in Connecticut, and sent gorgeous photos. Beautiful time of year!
