The Dome

I attended a wedding last week at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St John the Theologian in northern NJ.

I like this view of the exterior.

This dome pretties up the whole church doesn't it? Nice find, Dianne. It found you because that's where the wedding was.

A very nice blend of colors. The dome is exquisite, and I bet the interiors are too!

I have always wanted to observe different cultures, especially weddings.

I think the orthodox churches have such 'over the top' details.

There's a Ukrainian Orthodox Church in our city with an interesting dome like this.
