Little Guests - and Their Plus One

This brother and sister were at a wedding I attended earlier this month ...

There's so much going on with these sweeties. The girl is fussing with the chain on her little purse that has somehow gotten stuck inside the sleeve of her sweater. Her little brother refused to leave the car without Mickey and when he bolted up the steps of the church he knocked over a plant. Big sister calmly went over and fixed the plant and hugged him.

They were incredibly quiet during the ceremony and then danced with Mickey at the reception.

I keep forgetting that you have another blog.. you people with your multi-listings! (yeah, I'm looking at you Frank and Daryl) ;)

The picture is adorable but the story behind it is so endearing. What a couple of sweeties. Thanks for sharing this delightful twosome.

SHADOW SHOW

Shadows creeping through the land,
Shadows dark on every hand—
If they should begin to glow,
You had better run, you know!

Well, the boy had to be prepared to have someone to speak with, as the grown-up guests of the wedding can be soooo boring! The pretty, big sister was there to help her brother. She is assuming the bigger kid role, helping him along the way. Precious!

Adorable! And your description really added to it.
So nice that they were quiet for the ceremony. Do you have a picture of them dancing with Mickey?

I agree, the photo is cute, but the story is wonderful. I love to hear about big sisters taking care of little brothers.
I love the shadows, too, Dianne, especially Mickey and his owner!
