Peace

When you find peace within yourself, you become the kind of person who can live at peace with others
~ Peace Pilgrim

the peace symbol was on the back of a parked van. i played around with the shot to minimize the grit of the window and maximize the colors of the symbol and the reflection of the sky

i'm also playing around with peace within myself - they don't have software for that yet ...

I like the Peace symbol. And you said a mouthful. True inner peace is acceptance of yourself and others EXACTLY as is not as you wish they were. Nice post. Cheers!!

Funny...just this morning I was behind a car with a peace sign on it while at a stop light. I sat and looked at it wondering what the owner had in mind putting it on their car. I know peace...but specifically, what were they thinking, maybe just general peace. Who knows.

My friend used to have the 'coexist' bumper sticker on her car. I liked the symbols together, the peace sign was the one in place of the O.

Cool shot, Dianne. May peace be with you.

I remember the peaceniks and the beatnics and the hippies all pretty good. I always envied the beatniks and would have liked to have been one. Sit around in the coffee shops and write, read, and recite poetry and other. Maybe that's why I have a poetry blog now.

I wasn't too keen on the peaceniks although I sure didn't want to go to Vietnam. So I was a closet peacenik. After my reserve committment expired I didn't have to worry but still emphasized with them. I had served my five years in the Army, really almost a waste of five years of my life.

I did let my hair grow with the hippies and I rode my motorcycle all around the parks and bayous here in Houston visiting the bands, etc. ZZ Top was one of those bands.

I married Mrs. Jim. We had Karen (KP's mom) so I parked the bike and cut my hair a bit, and changed my ways.

Happy MidWeek Blues,
..

I think you're on to something and I have a lot of software development experience. Unfortunately, like everyone else, I wouldn't know how to translate inner peace to code :-(

That's a cool photo, the colors are really interesting.

Since my youth I have always loved the peace symbol so I know I would have taken this shot as well. It makes me smile.
Really lovely processing!
If you come across the right software for inner peace you will pass that info along won't you? :)
