Autumn Reflections and Shadows at the Marina

A few days following the Halloween snow storm it was an absurdly warm November day. The marina was busy with folks enjoying their boats before winterizing and dry docking them until spring.

Stunning reflections, Dianne!

WOW!

And yeah, can you believe the yoyo weather we're having? One day cold, then next day it feels like summer. I actually saw people with shorts and tanks tops on yesterday!?!?

I can't wait for winter to finally arrive and STAY arrived.

Enjoy your weekend, dear lady!

Shadows and reflections. You combined them for three lovely compositions. I love the red "ball" in the last. Forgive me, I"m not a sailor.

I love the watery reflections and shadows! My favorites! Hope you have a great weekend with better weather than we have here -- after our ONE sunny day -- wouldn't you know it would have been Black Friday!!!

Reflets et ombres, la frontière est parfois fragile !

The weatherman plays crazy ! One day it snows and the next day you can wear a bikini, or almost, lol !

I like to watch the ever changing reflections of the water, mesmerizing!

Now that is a BOAT! The hull is accepting of the shadowy waves beneath it, adding a cool texture to the plain fiberglass material...Ah, to transition from the Raritan to the Atlantic to be fishing on a balmy summer day is a nice thought. Alas, winter is to be soon. When I view these shots, it almost is!

Nice shadows and reflections, Dianne.

Although the marina was busy, you managed to get photos with nary a human in sight!

Fantastic reflections and shadows.

The cool thing about water reflections is how they constantly change. They kinda look like spiderwebs.

Another absurdly warm day yesterday and today and tomorrows looking pretty good too :-)

Water creates such gorgeous reflections and you caught them perfectly Diane !
The weather has been almost eerie .. way too warm for this time of year .. the fewer snow days we have I like .. but it is not good for the garden .. so there is always a catch 22 with weather eh ? LOL

I grow up around marinas. I love them. And, I totally agree with Ron; we are having crazy warm weather for November. Just this past weekend it was almost 70 degrees. Today will be 65. I'm loving it! Cheers!!
