The orchards in upstate NY are prolific - the fruit fresh (not being transported across the US) is full. A treat all by itself, yet around this time of the year, I think of pies and tarts and homemade applesauce. Oh the possibilities!
Beautiful! I love apples and these colors in their blue bins are just so pretty. I love the angle you got these in so we can even see the flowers and apples as far as the eye can see.

They are good -- (and we're originally from Washington State a big apple-growing area too). The first time we RVd into NYS the welcome stop had baskets of apples for you to help yourself -- a very nice welcome to the State indeed.
