I love that you spotted the letter P there! You have such a keen eye. I like the B&W shot best--it seems so bold.

The stainless steel is not considered to be an artistic medium - its function defines its shape, the handrail is not unattractive but nit art, either. The shadow, on the other hand is quite stylish! Curves and lines look so cool on the ground and pavement, the art the result of the function and the sun, Nicely captured!

A whimsical shadow shot! :)

A SHADOW THE SIZE OF THE SUN

If I had a shadow the size of the sun,
I’m not sure how fast I’d be able to run,
Or if I could flee from its ravenous jaws,
While keeping away from its razor-sharp claws!

I kidded John McElveen, who had a shadow "N" in his shot this week, that he should find the entire alphabet in shadows. I see you've already found "P" for him!

I really like the composition of the top photo.

Hi Dianne, I stopped in for a visit from The Smitten Image after reading a commnet you posted about being in NJ. We are former Jersey-ites now living on the VA eastern shore and hopefully will relocate to NH in the next year. We both grew up in NJ and have family there (Plainfield). I enjoyed your Phila photos as I attended college in that interesting city.

Nice capture of the shadows. It's always fun to find recognizable shapes and symbols and incidental visuals.
