Defend the Shore

I was finally able to get a shot of one of these --- what do you call them? Decals? Car art?

I believe it has something to do with the MTV show 'Jersey Shore' since brass knuckles are a central part of Snooki's jewelry line. Yes, she has a jewelry line.

Exit 117 is my exit off 'dah pawkway' and let me tell ya, we are not the shore. If you have to drive to get to something that vaguely resembles a body of water then you are not the shore.

I also don't know who they're defending the shore from. Sober people? People who can read?

oh, the shot of Snooki is not mine, it's from the MTV site.
I've never been that close to a Snooki.

Funny. They probably don't want the likes of me at 'their' shore! And a Snookie jewelry line? That's gotta be exciting!

Really nice shot, Dianne, but like you, I can't for the life of me figure out what "Defend The Shore' means. Right, exactly WHO are they defending?

And can you believe I've never seen
'Jersey Shore'?!?!

Hope you had FAB day, dearest lady!

X ya!

Well, naturally if you have to "defend The Shore," you have a built in excuse to wear your knuckle duster jewelry. Not that brass knuckle jewelry isn't reason enough in itself. lol

Well , Dianne, I am way behind the times. I didn't know who Snooki is. But now seeing her picture I may have to watch MTV more often. :)

This has been a voyage of discovery for me - I've never heard of Snooki adn who knew that brass knuckles would be desirable as jewellery?!

Don't know much about her and know even less about her line. Nice post, though. Cheers Lady Di!!

I cant imagine what they're defending the shore from .. other than the boobs on that 'reality' program ..

Hahaha... love it!

Must be referring to the series ending, I think it's been cancelled. Good riddance, "The Jersey Snore" is a insult to the state. Shame, these guys have become idols, and Snooki command over $30K to speak at Rutgers last year. Guess I'm just getting old.

Funny! I have not watched this show and can only imagine what all this means! Brass knuckles jewelry is a new thought.....not in my jewelry box!

Jewellery? Omigosh, I thought those things were illegal.
Interesting sign on the car rear window... Shows how passionate some people can get over some issues they perceive as "important".

I had no idea what it was about!

Maybe the shore needs defending against The Shore's Snooki and JWoww etc? Actually, I think it does need defending,

The shore doesn't sound like a very fun place if one needs a set of brass knuckles.

Love the photo of your seagull below this post. Excellent capture!

I don't even know what to say about this. But you can be sure I will not be invading "the shore". :)

I'm proud to say I've never watched a single nanosecond of that show.

I've not heard of this movement. I'll keep an eye out for it.

hehe i have never watched Jersey Shore, have no idea who Snooki is. she looks like one of those reality show characters.

but the sign is interesting...we should adapt this sign here. we have lots of shores. :p

Since I've never watched the show, I'd have thought it was some kind of environmental decal and probably thought it was a good thing.

Would you want to be that close to Snooki? :)
