I would like these for the shadows alone...shadows means there is sunshine, right? I am so ready for a few days of sun....we get it in bits and pieces just not enough to suit me.

All four of these shots are AWESOME, Dianne!

I love the sharpness of the contrast between the shadow and light in the first two. And the overall soft goldish hue of the last two.

Beautiful, dear lady. Just beautiful!

X ya!

Great shots...love all the shadows!

This makes me wonder why some fences are curved. It makes them more difficult to climb over perhaps?

Nothing like bright sunshine to offer us some shadow possibilities.

I see your favorite linear captures here. ;-) Love the perspective of the second photo.

I like strong, repetitive elements, so these are all a hit. I'm liking the 3rd one with the warn wood and great blue sky's.

The vertical fences are there for safety on and over the water. That function actually allows for style and art in shadow. The lines go from north to south and the other way, letting the strong sun create shadow in all directions. Geometry and shadow - art extraordinare!

You're a spreader of shadows! :)
Have a g good week ahead!

You did a fantastic job with the fence shadows! I see these things when I'm driving in the early morning sun, usually along the highway where there are concrete dividers or a guard rail. Of course it would be dangerous to impede traffic to stop and get a photograph. I like the long running shadows of such things. You've captured them well.
Good to be back amongst the living. Hope all is good with you.

Super shadows this week...love all the different spots of the vertical and horizontal shadows the fencing makes in all the areas.

Dianne you captured great crisp shots of these fences ... even on a soft and yielding beach they are strong and straight !

I wonder if designers ever think of shadows? It is a part of the design don´t you think?
