Paws and Projects

A neighborhood shop offering products and services for the paws set

Even with the pretty blue in this poster I got a wee bit of the blues when I realized I had missed the event, I was positive it was supposed to take place on the 29th, not the 19th.
Guess I had leap year fever.
It was a fund raiser for a project to create giant glass butterfly sculptures to decorate local gardens and the waterfront walk.

Dianne, I love the clever name of this pet shop. How cute!

Great photo, too! Love how you captured the brick above the shop.

And I adore that poster for the auction. Love the Mardi Gras mask!

Well done, dear lady!

X ya!

Too bad, Dianne. It is always nice to find out more about the local businesses. I like the poster. Maybe there is still one on a fence someplace. :)
The blue shade little awning on the shop next door is a pretty shade of blue.

Love how the gingerbread trim in the shop gives it a quaint feeling and the 'barber' pole signs are unique as well.
Hmmm...I have to question glass sculptures in the public arena. I'm sure they would be lovely but I guess I worry about vandalism too much.
Great finds Dianne!

I wonder how much it is for a shave and a haircut for your pet nowadays! I like that they used those barbershop poles in their sign.

Whimsical and approprIate name for a pet shop!
Leap year tends to put things out of kilter a little ;-)

I like that pet shop sign. It reminds me I must never take hubby into such places or he might bring home a dog for me to take care of.
