Yes, a VERY clever name!

Whenever I see pedal pushers (capri pants) I always think of Mary Tyler Moore as Laura Petrie in "The Dick Van Dyke Show!"

Have a great day, dear lady!

X ya!

My sister used to wear pedal pushers. Now she has outgrown them.

I like your sign find. Neat. I also liked the cars in your last week's post. I was absent, must have been.

Hugs to ya'all, you and Hope.

What a great name for a landscape/gardener/thingy! The names of pants have become like names of fashionable color shades. What's wrong with red, yellow, blue, purple ... "Would you call that grape or aubergine?" (Clairee Belcher in Steel Magnolias)

Oh yeah, I remember (but I wonder how many of the younger generation would even get the pun on the gardener's truck!

I not only remember them ... but I used to use them whilst riding my bike ... my mom insisted after fixing my "bell bottoms" for the umpteenth time after they got caught in the pedals!

I like the name for a gardener/flower shop. It's perfect!

Well, I don't remember when they were called pedal pushers. ;)
I have heard the term clam diggers for those type pants too.
Clever name for the company.

Petal Pushers made me grin.:p
my mom still calls it pedal pushers.

I hate to admit it but, yes, I DO remember pedal pushers. The young lady modeling those *almost* looks like my mother in her younger days.

Great name for the landscape company!

Didn't know that name.

Yes, I do remember they were called pedal pushers. I'd forgotten about this until I saw your pic.

So fashionable - 'petal pushers' with a 'pine belt'!!

I know about pedal pushers because my told me years ago that's what they were called. I love the gardener's sign and how it reminded you of the pedal pusher pants.

Yes I do....

Very clever. Pedal pushers, capri pants - what's in a name?

That goes for "clam diggers." I never really understood the difference amongst the three. Do tell. Cheers!!

Hmmm. Should I or should I not admit that I remember petal pushers? :))

Absolutely. And as Ron said, my first thought was of Mary Tyler Moore.

Oh, yes, I remember. And then one season they were known as clam diggers!
