Sun and Rain

A short shopping trip became a weather adventure

I'm singing in the rain
Just singing in the rain
What a glorious feelin'
I'm happy again
I'm laughing at clouds
So dark up above
The sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love
Let the stormy clouds chase
Everyone from the place
Come on with the rain
I've a smile on my face
I walk down the lane
With a happy refrain
Just singin',
Singin' in the rain

Little darling, the smiles returning to the faces
Little darling, it seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right

thanks to Gene Kelly and George Harrison

Yeah, can you believe all the RAIN we've been having?

You're right, it's odd because it's like sun AND rain.

Awesome captures, Dianne!

LOVE the rain drops. Stunning color!

Love it. It rained during the night here and Molly and I listened to the thunder. She didn't really like it.. I did.

Great post for the day, but it does look stormy and WET! And here in Seattle???? Going on 45 days with no rain at all! Record setting for one of the wettest cities in the states!! Hope you have a great weekend -- you and Hope stay safe and dry! Hugs to you both!

I love the sound of rain, but not high winds with it.

Here comes the sun ~~ I like that song. But this summer we have had way too much of it here in Texas.

I like the pictures but thought my computer was on the fritz at first.

Love that first shot!
The George Harrison song reminds of college. I remember sitting in the student union one evening and listening to a band cover this song. :)

A pretty adventure at least! I love the way a scene looks through a rainy window. :)

Wow, that first photo is so great -- Kind of thrill-cam effect, but just beautiful.
