Cute photos of the starling. They are just beginning to return to Ontario now and it's so nice to see them. Spring is here even though it doesn't feel like it temperature-wise.

If you like starlings come to my house. We have flocks of thousands hanging out around here.

A single starling looks lonesome. They're usually in flocks.

A find shot, Dianne. I love starlings even though they can finish off a suet feeder in just a few minutes. They've arrived back here in force recently, as fellow Ontarian EG CameraGirl stated.

And of course by find shot.. I meant fine shot. Hell .. I really meant lovely. :)

We're already starting to see them flocking up here. One is cute; 100s are eerie.

Interesting edits.

You've captured the colours in his dark feathers nicely.

Was he walking or hopping? Oh, do tell me he was walking, because I love watching starlings walk. Other people tell me they hate starlings, but I find them endlessly amusing.
