There is a park along the Navesink River in NJ that's built on three levels. You enter at street level and you can descend to the water's edge.
I enjoy the middle level for communing with the trees. The trees at the bottom seem close enough to touch and give the feeling of being able to climb them.

Thanks for the marvelous pics. I think I will hug you instead and you can pass it on to the tree.

"Hug a tree today"
I agree, Dianne! Hugging a tree is like the BEST! I spent so much of my free time this summer sitting under trees and hugging them before I left.
Fantastic collection of tree photos. So diverse. I think my two favs are the 3rd and 4th ones down. STUNNING!
(((((((( You )))))))
Hope you're having a super week, dear lady!
X to you and the gang!
How lovely they are! Thanks for putting the link on your other blog. I can't figure out how to add a blog to Feedly (it transferred what I had on Google Reader, but there doesn't seem to be a way to add a new one.. I think you post oftener on this one now, so I really need to try to figure out how to get it on there).
Hope you are feeling well.
Tree pics are always good.
I hug trees. When my city neighborhood was being gentrified and they cut down many trees every day it was sad and physically painful.
Lovely! I had no idea you took photos. I've changed my bookmarks and will see you here. When do we see pics of the kitties???
I often do. Sadly a couple of our trees at the new place had to go so that we could build the addition. There was no other direction to go but in their path. It saddened me but I wasn't there when it happened. Frank was, and it sickened him. I hope we will be forgiven. Wonderful pics, Dianne.
Love climbing trees. Great pictures. Thank you.
Great pictures. I hug our trees every day (at least mental hugs).
Wonderful shots of some lovely branches!
Beautiful trees! Glad you enjoyed time at the park.
