Before Christmas ...

... might be a good time to share some photos from Thanksgiving.

My brother held Athena very carefully

Hope and Aunt Lauren, my niece and Hope's GodMother.

Aunt Lauren will be marrying Dan next year. Hope said "he doesn't make believe he's listening to me, he really listens to me."

Cousin Gabriel follows Hope everywhere. He's just a year old so steps are still a challenge.

Now and then Hope feels the need to ignore Gabriel.

Athena and Hope with their Uncle Michael. Micheal is Gabriel's Dad.

Athena took to her swing when she'd had enough.

And On We Go ...

Wonderful photos, Dianne. I am smiling, with tears in my eyes. I just love Hope figuring out when someone is really listening and not just pretending. She is a delight, and I hope she remains just as delightful as she grows up.
Athena, meanwhile, has a tough act to follow. Maybe she'll enjoy playing with Gabriel because he's closer in age.
You have such a lovely family, Dianne. Thank you for sharing them with us.
Luv, K

All such gorgeous kidlets. What a beautiful family. And Hope is such a sharp observer of human behaviour. What a love.

"he doesn't pretend to be listening to me....he really listens to me." Wow. That makes me want to turn around and LOOK at my granddaughter tomorrow when she comes to stay with us. She is turning 4 Saturday. Hope looks like she is around the same age.

Beautiful children! Handsome adults!
