Snowy Trees

The last two storms produced heavy, wet snow that sits on the branches and freezes.

Not good for power lines or over burdened branches but very pretty on trees at the park.

Stay warm and cozy

Beautiful selection of photos, Dianne!

Love the contrast of the branches against the blue sky.

And the third one down looks like vanilla ICING on the tree branches!

Beautiful, snowy trees and, yes, SO lovely against the blue skies!! We have the snow, too, lots of it, but no blue skies!! Wonderful captures for the day -- any day, actually!!

on the third one I am imagining that I see Cherry Blooms. Beautiful - Thank you

What beautiful photos.

No snow here in the UK just not stop rain and serious flooding and storm damage. Not fun at all.

I love that second image. Despite it being of snow, it makes me think of cherry or apple blossoms about to explode.

Looks like just the right amount of snow to look good but not break things.

Beautiful pictures, but .... My son e-mailed pictures of yesterdays snow where we used to live in Oregon (and now in the summer) -- about six inches. It's quite rare for that part of the country and this is the second one theyv'e had this winter. He said "Oh too bad for you, you went to Florida and missed all the fun!".

Right!

It is so beautiful on the trees. I just wish it didn't cost in terms of so much inconvenience.
