Time
Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time
It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right,
I hope you had the time of your life.
So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth it was worth all the while
It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right,
I hope you had the time of your life.

Changing Reflections
I love how fluid reflections can be. You can create your own moving reflection show depending on your point of view.
I noticed a shop sign reflected in this window ...
As I got closer, the reflection changed ...

Fences and Reflections
These shots for Friday Fences were taken on a rainy day in late February. This spot is a series of patios that lead from the main street to a section of the marina ...
I was waiting in the parking lot for a prescription to be filled when I noticed the show going on in the plain old Walgreens window ...

Dancing Reflections
The scenario was near perfect - golden late day light, a tree, some phone lines and a lamp post. All dancing in the windows.

Reflections at Red Restaurant
I took these shots in early November when the mums were still fresh although they could probably bloom today, it's raining and the temps have been rising through the night - it could get to 60F by this afternoon. And there's thunder! in January!
Even the cats were so surprised it took them a moment to remember they don't like thunder.

Red Brick and Bare Limbs ...
... are two of my favorite things.
I noticed this just as the red light was turning green so I shot it over my shoulder through the car window. I had to straighten it a bit in editing and the composition is not my finest work but I like it none the less.
I hope I'm back to regular posts now. I had a fall down the driveway on my first day out after my flu/plague/brain tumor was better so I'm just a big blob of bruises but I'm trying.
I think 2010 heard me talking smack about it and told 2011 to kick my ass.
