I took these in December when I was Christmas shopping. The Macy's near me has a separate store for children and within that they have an F.A.O. Schwarz outlet.
Go by RUBY TUESDAY for more reds.
And good news - the dogs I mentioned in the Camera Critters post have a home!!

Stuffed animals and lots of RED! That's my kind of Ruby Tuesday post, Dianne! :)
I remember FAO Schwarz...haven't been in a toy store in ages, but this one brings back memories. Great bursts of red you captured!
Awesome Reds, and great shots for Ruby Tuesday.
I'm glad to hear about hte happy dogs.
Your Ruby pics are great!
Those are lots of fun! My daughter would adore FAO Schwarz. I would have a terrible time getting her to leave.
mary - thanks!! I wanted a happy post
linnea - I haven't been to the main story in Manhattan in ages, this little one made me want to go
columbo - thanks :)
bobbie - I was so pleased and relieved that the dogs found a home, I couldn't stop thinking about them
leora - I know! there were children there throwing themselves on the stuffed animals - nice thing is the store has a little play area
Oh to be a kid again - if only for a little while!!
There is nothing like FAO for a child...Loved to visit the one in New York when the kids were little..
What a FUN place! I want that little Madeline doll on the shelf in the bottom picture! I always LOVED that little girl!
Great pictures. Nutcrackers are my favorite.
linda - I try to be a kid whenever I can - one more reason to look forward to the grandkid, I can use him/her as the excuse :)
rambling - the one in Manhattan is amazing, I've been wanting to go back there for a long time
melli - they had a whole Madeline section - more dolls and books and accessories - I love her too and was already making a mental note for the grandkid to be :)
ivon - I like nutcrackers too - I have very old one - from my Russia, it was my grandmothers - I bring it out each Christmas
I remember so well "visiting" FAO Schwarz like a museum, the temple of toys.
At this time, my children were too young, they were remained in Paris. What egoist parents we were when I think about it, going for our own pleasure at FAO S !
Yes, Dianne, we brought them some toys-souvenirs... (I wrote "egoist", not awful parents : )
I'm so glad to hear the pups found a new home! And, I just love that big ole teddy bear.
I love the toyland pix.
Being there is also a joy.
Not for my wallet though.
From Felisol
wow those cuddlies are huge! my little girl would love them.
thanks for dropping by! :)
A much bigger bear with that red gift bag of smaller bears. A classic bruin pose in a classic retailer. The perfect RT, for me, anyway!
Cute Ruby Tuesday post!!
I wish I could get that teddy bear for my daughter..
thanks for visiting!
A big big stuff toy. I love it.
I bet you could spend some money in there Di! Great Ruby Tuesday layout you sexy woman! :D
Great reds from the toy shop! :P
The last picture of the stuff toy seem to scream out "Bring me home!!Bring me home!!"
Hi Dianne, this is a happy RT!
I hope you had a Happy RT as well.
I'll take the pink hound. My dog, Adi the Beagle, would like the brown one better.
I've been to one F.A.O.Sch, it was in Las Vegas. I'm thinking on the higher floors of Ceasar's Palace. Our granddaughter was with us and we did not escape without spending money.
..
BTW, thirty-six is a long time, it was my second try. First was 13.
..
Tee hee. I see this store appeals to kids of all ages, as the saying goes. ;-)
How cute these stuffed animals !
What a lot of red. Nice selection.
I love these stuffed animals..I want the giant pink puppy and I want it now!
;-)
I hope you have a great day after Ruby Tuesday (that would be Wednesday).
Good to read that the doggies got a home.
Neat that Macy's and FAO S have that connection.. love those stuffed pups
Very kewl for Ruby Tuesday ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
I love the bear even if he is in the outlet store.
I've never been to the store but with all these cuties waiting I probably don't need to go!
Cute post.
Christmas time is the best to capture the reds.
Great shots! My kids have never been to NYC but they dream of that store!
