Shadow Shots: Follow That Truck

Camera Critters is right below

I hate being stuck behind big trucks on the road, it feels so closed in. But I did capture this shadow.

Visit SHADOW SHOTS for more captured shadows.

That's nice in black and white. Not bad for being stuck behind the dreaded truck!

Happy Day to you, my good friend.

All the love,
Gina

Good one. Yes, it has come to this. Even in traffic, I am content if I can capture a shadow. Guess you feel the same.

Oh, I hope you weren't driving and shooting at the same time! lol

Nice way to make lemonade out of lemons. Fun shot.

You captured a nice shadow there! Gorgeous in black & white! I don't like being behind trucks either. Or beside them. Or anywhere near them for that matter! Happy Sunday to you :)

Ditto....hate being behind trucks too....I feel that I can't see the signage ahead & I HATE that!!

I have a fear of being near trucks on the freeway. I used to have to drive a truck for a job up into the mountains! I still can't believe I did that job.

At least you didn't let an opportunity pass you by ;-)

Nice shadow in B&W

Good for you for making the best of a bad situation. LOL (Of course, it helps to always have your camera.)

you sure have done well by converting a liability to an asset!
lovely capture indeed!

Um, Dianne, who was driving? (I've been known to shoot out the window while driving, eyes on the road.) The composition and coloring are fabulous. Happy SSS!

I love that you have converted this to B&W. It enhances the shadow :)

B&W was definitely the right choice for this one. The shadow makes that little cab look like it's a seperate truck and the shadow is taking on a life of its own.
I know I'm not describing that well enough. I like it.

thanks all for the wonderful comments
seems most of us don't like sharing the road with trucks :)
I WAS driving BUT we were stopped at a light - so it was safe shooting ;)

Me too...with the trucks. Cool shot!

Not many people would think of photographing the shadow of a truck as it moved along the street. Amazing!
