You captured a nice shadow there! Gorgeous in black & white! I don't like being behind trucks either. Or beside them. Or anywhere near them for that matter! Happy Sunday to you :)
I have a fear of being near trucks on the freeway. I used to have to drive a truck for a job up into the mountains! I still can't believe I did that job.
Um, Dianne, who was driving? (I've been known to shoot out the window while driving, eyes on the road.) The composition and coloring are fabulous. Happy SSS!
B&W was definitely the right choice for this one. The shadow makes that little cab look like it's a seperate truck and the shadow is taking on a life of its own. I know I'm not describing that well enough. I like it.
thanks all for the wonderful comments seems most of us don't like sharing the road with trucks :) I WAS driving BUT we were stopped at a light - so it was safe shooting ;)

That's nice in black and white. Not bad for being stuck behind the dreaded truck!
Happy Day to you, my good friend.
All the love,
Gina
I don't like the smell behind big trucks...cough...cough!!!
Great shot..I don't like getting behind big trucks either..can't see anything..At least you got a nice picture..Happy SSS.
Ha! You're a good driver, seems to, eh? *wink
The B&W shot is nice. brings more dramatic touch of the photo.
ENjoy your Sunday!
Good one. Yes, it has come to this. Even in traffic, I am content if I can capture a shadow. Guess you feel the same.
Great idea..never would have thought of it. I too hate the feeling of being squeezed it..scary...Michelle
Nifty way to take advantage of a frustrating situation ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Oh, I hope you weren't driving and shooting at the same time! lol
Nice way to make lemonade out of lemons. Fun shot.

Hoping that you were the passenger!!
Ditto....hate being behind trucks too....I feel that I can't see the signage ahead & I HATE that!!

At least you didn't let an opportunity pass you by ;-)
Nice shadow in B&W
Good for you for making the best of a bad situation. LOL (Of course, it helps to always have your camera.)
you sure have done well by converting a liability to an asset!
lovely capture indeed!

I love that you have converted this to B&W. It enhances the shadow :)

Me too...with the trucks. Cool shot!
Not many people would think of photographing the shadow of a truck as it moved along the street. Amazing!
Love your blog! There's an award for you over at my place.
