I took these last Friday when it was warmer here than it was in Florida! This is the Fire Museum in Keyport, NJ.
Keyport is a wonderful town near me. It's called the 'Pearl of the Bay'.
For some info on the museum visit THEIR OFFICIAL SITE
For more fiery reds visit RUBY TUESDAY

LOVE the hydrants ... perfect Ruby shots
Back from holiday, trying to catch up ...
These are some sweet shots! I love it.
Nice series. I wonder why red is THE color for firemen.
great shots. I love that shade of red, especially on a fire hydrant!
this is so fun to see. cheerful and inviting.

Wonderfully interesting shots today ... reminding me of some firehouses I've taken photos of and haven't yet shared. I'll need to remember my archives ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
This lineup of red hydrants - could this be a watering hole for the neighborhood dogs? I hope not...Red is a perfect color for a firehouse. The fireman is resplendent in red also. A wonderful RT!
Wonderful! I love all the hydrants... but I think I especially love the little fireman in the bushes. What a perfect Ruby Tuesday post.
What could be more red than fire-hydrant red, right? Looks like a cool place. Lots of nice shots here!
Are those real? They look plastic!
Happy RT :)
Wow this was a Ruby Tuesday just waiting to be photographed! Great vivid color as well.
A fire museum. Very cool! Never been to one before. I love the hydrants lined up. ;-)

That line-up of hydrants is totally surreal - excellent!!
Ohhhhhh Yeahhhhh!
Now that's what I call Red!!!
Great, Dianne.

Gotta love a whole row of RED fire hydrants. Good shot! And thanks for stopping by those lemons.
Nice displays of those fire hydrants in front of the museum. I wish there's a museum like that in Singapore, and I could bring my kids there :)
Keyport looks like a nice and quiet little town.
This museum makes certainly the joy of the young.
Nice collection of hydrants in Red that stand to attention. Well done, Dianne.
Looks like a romantic little town.
What a cute museum.
I love all the details and all those fire hydrants!
That's funny I have a hydrant today for WW but some person with humour had dressed it !
Nice pictures !
THANKS EVERYONE!!
Keyport, NJ is a great town
I encourage anyone near enough to check out the fire website and to check out Keyport
A great place to spend a spring/summer day
And if you do plan to visit let me know, I'll buy you lunch :)
the hydrants are real - each from a different time period - they've been treated with something to keep the paint shiny
All those hydrants must confuse any visiting dogs, eh?
Perfect for Ruby Tuesday, Dianne.
Warmer than Florida? Hasn't the weather been crazy!
Thank you for your kind comments regarding Benji, it is appreciated. I was catching up and I didn't know about all the new photo memes. Wow. You could do multiples on a single day....Michelle
I think I've seen maybe all those fire hydrants somewhere before! Great RED shots of the Fire Museum, Dianne! :)
First time I have seen a fire hydrant collection.
They were appealing with great variety in shapes.
Fascinating!
Also love the little fire fighter with a horn?? and flag.
They are brave and unselfish men, the firefighters.
Certainly worthy of your honor.

That fire museum is neat. It looks like it's right in the middle of a residential neighborhood.
The fire hydrants each have their own unique characteristics. Interesting collection and it must be an interesting museum.
I like the statue standing sentry in front of the building.
I took a photo of a one-bay firehouse in our town..thanks for the reminder. I can post it sometime!
(I'm visiting a tad late for RT!)
