It's cute and menacing at the same time!
The hammered metal (?) is quite nice in sepia.

A sepia lizard might be really hard to spot in life. This one is a beauty.

He could be an extra in a Harry Potter movie ..

ROFL! HE caught me off guard for sure! LOL! I wonder what he looks like in color... I haven't decided if he's cute or ugly!

Hi guys :)

wanted to answer ellie and melli (how cute does that sound)

it's an enlarged sculpture - the point of this piece was to show how intricate their tongues are - and how they use them
the kids I took spent the rest of the day sticking their tongues out!!
their natural color ranges from muddy browns to vivid greens - if I understood the curator
this sculpture was done in hammered metal - the original is not far off from the sepia

He is kinda scary. Don't know if I would call him flirty. ;-)

I missed seeing you on Ruby Tuesday.

Hmmm. I must admit snakes usually make me jump when I see them but this one is kinda cute. ;-)

This bronze reptile is almost smiling. But this guy is at least an honest reptile. Far different than the two-legged reptiles I often run into...

Can't say he's cute, Dianne, but I love him in sepia tone! :)
