That tone makes him look cold where as color would probably make him look sleepy in the sun. It is interesting how different tones can change the perception. Thanks, think I will try that.
I agree with Patti, the sepia cools things down and he looks like he's shrugging into himself, fluffing his feathers and trying to stay warm. nice subject for sepia. If you’d like to drop by and see my sepia scene & window views, they are here. thanks!
A beautiful, sharp picture of Mr. Stanley Seagull. He's narrowing his eyes, pretending he doesn't care, while he's targeting his next fish. I like watching the seagulls, they have much going on in their little heads.
I also must repeat I did like your dashboard picture. Almost science fiction like, the way the red light beams are glowing out from the instrument panel. From Felisol
I cannot say that I am a fan of seagulls. Except this one, just sitting pretty and dozing off. No screeching or begging for fries from the humans on the ground. Acting nice and not aggressive - I may have to reassess my opinion!
It's interesting to see just how permeant virtual memory has become in our lives. It's like everywhere I turn, I see something with a card slot or USB port, lol. I guess it makes sense though, considering how much more afforable memory has become lately...
Ahhh... I shouldn't be complaining. I can't get through a day without using my R4 / R4i!

Nodding off...Rigby does the same thing. He nods off with his head up.
My Sepiafying looks too yellow. I must work on that!
Wow! Great close-up with the shimmery water in the background. This is a very good picture!!
He looks cold ...
Hi Dianne,
Thanks for the info about sepia-fying! I think I may try that trick of using B&W and working on it that way.
Hope you have a great Thursday.

Hi Dianne;
Love the sepia seagull photo. Thank you for visiting my site, I always love meeting new friends. I'm now following you. Have a lovely weekend.
Ah, seagulls certainly are timeless, aren't they? I imagine once we humans are gone, seagulls and pigeons will own the world. ;-)
That's such a beautiful shot and looks sweet in sepia.
The gull looks so content.
That's a very nice shot!
It looks as though it'll fall asleep any moment soon! :)
Nice one in sepia :)
