Shadow Shots: Pretty Shadows All In A Row

SHADOW SHOTS

This is my 200th photo post.

Thanks to all who visit. I appreciate the comments.

Photography means a lot to me. It has always allowed me to nurture my creative side - trust me - I suck at all other arts - can't draw or sew, and dogs howl when I sing.

My enjoyment is heightened many, many times over by sharing my photos with all of you.

A special thank you to all of you who are so good that I have stolen angles and composition ideas. You've made me a better shooter.

And a giant thank you to all who host the photo projects that inspire me to look at things in new ways

What a great shadow shot! We have a row of the same trees in our yard! Did a double take! Was Dianne here and I missed her???

And I couldn't agree more, Dianne! I had never done anything more than a few shots with a disposable camera up until about eight months ago when my son handed me his camera and told me to go have fun. And I have, in a big way! and I've learned so much from fellow bloggers and being able to participate in these memes! Terrific!

Have a great weekend!

These shrubs haven't grown up yet, so the shadows add some depth to these evergreens, belying their tender years...

You are an excellent photographer, I enjoy the things mundane to many. but you have given these things an artistic flair. You are a photo artist, so 200 is a great milestone and please continue!

It's a simple thing to see the beauty in something so familiar to us all...the simple shadow...who woulda thought we'd make so many great friendships to boot!

Congrats on the #200. I agree, I look at the world differently now I'm looking for creative shots. I like that photography helps me to spot the beautiful in the ordinary.

Your title sounds like the beginning of a nursery rhyme. Lovely shadow shot of such neat and tidy trees. So there you are - not only a photographer but a creative writer and topiary gardener too. Congratulations on the '200' :-)

Congrats big time on 200. I have learned a lot from you and other photo blogs. Mainly that I have scads to learn and to think outside the box.

Think it is great you have 7 bars where you live, I only have one. Can you hear me now?

Nice shot of the trees. Like you, I am still learning and I often imitate other shooters. But, As they say, it's the highest form of flaterry, right?

Congratulations on your 200th photo post. I'm not sure I've kept track of how many photos (or mosaics) I've shared (and methinks it's too late to start counting now). I usually miss the 'round numbers' when it comes to sharing anyway but I agree with you that I've learned much about photography from visiting other photo bloggers and I owe all of you a huge debt of gratitude. I'm so glad you're out there ... sharing and hope you continue to do so for a long time to come.
Hugs and blessings,

Trees, how do you grow?
With shadows all in a row,
but light in our limbs.
