Every spring I take my neighbor's grandson to a local amusement park. As soon as the weather starts to get warmer and sunnier he asks "is it open yet?" every time he sees me.
I promised him I would go check if it was open yet. These shots were taken right before this weekend's storm. I hope they didn't suffer too much damage, they are right on the water.
They usually open in late March/early April.

Love the blues in these! It's so nice of you take your neighbor's grandson there! I don't blame him for being inpatient. I would be too! I just love how vivd the blue is. The sky looks great!

Poor kid, it isn't open yet. You could run him down here, our Galveston beaches opened last week. The Spring breakers are here this week.
Happy MidWeek Blues!
..
Looks like Keansburg... Can't wait to get to the beach before the really hot days :-)
that's a cute story. this really looks like a nice park to go have fun.
& you are very brave!
That does look like a ton of fun. Hopefully your little guy will be enjoying himself there shortly!
Lots of blue :)
Lots of angles and contrasting shapes to see as well as lovely blues .. what a fun thing to do. I miss having a kid to take places, when my friend's son was young I took him to the circus every year for his birthday .. he wanted to grow up to be a back hoe driver at/with a circus.. he turned out to be an aspiring musician...
You found some beautiful blues here. I especially like the last photo with the cool perspective and the blue sky.
(not that you asked)
