weekend reflections is right below
I washed the bowl and set it on the counter by the window. Came back and noticed the shadow so of course I had to share ...
The bits of light are from the overhead lighting. The little splotches in the shadow are from beads of water.
I wasn't sure how the rest of the shadows and reflections got there so I started playing with a heat mapping program ...
I quickly grew weary of the instructions and tech talk and just played because it looked pretty.

I really love the original! I'm not a big fan of the programs that give distorted colors. Great shadow shot.
Both are simply wonderful!!!!! You really are gifted, Dianne!
Wonderful shots.
Very pretty!
I also grow tired of instructions. Playing with colors and shapes is much more fun.
The blue bowl is lovely. I like the droplets in the shadow. ;-)
Oh, I love the first one, Dianne! The water droplets are perfect! Wonderful shadow shot for the day! Hope you have a great week!

That is really pretty Dianne.... Michelle
These are great! I really love the purple colors in the first one.
The lovely blue shadow offers a 3-D shadow, a wonderful feeling of depth. What a great bowl in blue!
haha...I grow weary quickly of tech instructions myself:) Both those photos are really cool. My eyes keep going back to the loop inside the bowl wondering where that is coming from....hmmmm. Neat.
How pretty! I really love the colors in the first version. Gives it a dreamy quality. And it's shiny! :)
These are cool! You did well to ignore the tech talk as it turned out great! Simply playing is way more fun :)
This is pretty cool!
What fun it is to play around with all the camera effects!
Happy week!
Fun shadows and shades of color in the first
Check out Picnik.com, its free and its got some fun effect w/o a lot of tech talk
Nifty shadows and kewl heat mapping image ... I've not played with that before. Enjoyed your nifty blue tennis courts too ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
Beautiful blue bowl and shadows but I love the heat mapping colors! I did the same effect a few posts ago. My home is mostly neutrals but playing with pictures gives fun freedom!
Nice visiting with you!
Kindly, ldh
The first and original is the one babe.
Marvellous. Reflections and shadows and light...all in one pic.
Love it!
Blue eh?
Lemme think...
Ah Haaaa!!!!
Fine Young Cannibals - 'Blue'
Great song just for you babe x
Ooooohaaaah.
I've had a bad day, yeah.
My hometown is falling down, I'm mad about that.
And people there don't seem to care, I'm mad about that.
Good god, all my tears
There's no denying life
Would be better if I never ever had to live with you,
Blue - it's a colour so cruel
Government has got me wrong, I'm mad about that.
And it makes me feel like I don't belong, I'm mad about that.
It's making life a misery, you would have taken the liberty
Government has got me wrong, I'm mad about that.
Good god, all my tears
There's no denying life
Would be better if I never ever had to live with you,
Blue - it's a colour so cruel
There you go telling lies, it's no surprise
I say a prayer, to make you care,
You wouldn't listen
It's been too long, it's time you're gone
Get away from here
I've had too much - but not enough
It's time you left
Good god, all my tears
There's no denying life
Would be better if I never ever had to live with you,
Blue - it's a colour so cruel
Something so simple yet very effective! Bravo, Dianne!
