Weekend Photos

I took this shot right after a rain storm. It's the puddle that formed on the pool cover. It was windy and the ripples in the water distorted the fence around the deck.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS

These 2 sweeties are neighbors.
This is Teddy Bear, now mostly called Bear since he got so big ...

that's my granddaughter Hope toddling around in the background. Dog is her new favorite word.

and this is Bear's "big" brother Snow ...

CAMERA CRITTERS

Nothing says summer like outdoor dining ...

and the shadows provide the floor show.

Love the pool cover shot and the shadow patterns on the last image. They make lovely abstracts.

Bear and Snow look like delightful characters and love those textured reflections! They almost look like the woven cane of of a basket! Those last summer shadows are so defined with varied patterns! Looking great!

I like the wavy reflections on the pool cover and you caught a little sky as well. :)
The patio shadows are nice and crisp - nice catch!

You seem to have covered all the bases with this one post Dianne. Nice job.
Have a great weekend!

Wonderful shadow shots - and of course, adorable dogs!

You've combined so much in one post - well done! It's lovely to see small children appreciating animals - they learn so much about life and how to live through them - and what beautiful dogs they are! I like your reflections - a rippled reflection makes an interesting shot.
I'd love to sit in that outdoor area and watch the shadows (and eat and drink, of course!)

The pool cover shot is great Dianne! There is no way I would have figured out what caused the reflection without the explanation... Nice mystery!

Cute pups... I would have never guessed the reflection shot was a pool cover. Still have a hard time believing it!

I like the abstract quality of your reflection. Nice work. We had some serious weather Thursday, eh neighbor?

Bear is beautiful, I trust that despite the size difference, Bear pays attention to the more experienced Snow...

I would be happy to be invited to dine outdoors at this patio!

Lovely series of photographs and nice to get your granddaughter in the one shot. My son's very first word was 'dog'. We used to go over to a friend who had one he loved.

If you have time to stop by, my Camera Critter’s post is right here.

What a fun series, it really exudes summertime. The only real question now is, should I grab a popsicle out of the freezer or save it for the kids?...

Love the pool cover ~ only you could find lines in a puddle ;-)

I enjoyed your series of weekend photos, Dianne, from precious little Hope and your dog friends to the shadow shots under the chairs and tables.
I've been out of blogland for a bit, as you may know. I hope my unplanned break is over. Must keep up!!

Thanks for stopping by.
