It's Swing Time

I took this shot last fall ...

And then I promptly forgot about it until I passed this yard this weekend. There were clothes on the line and the trees were plump and the grass was green and a happily giggling child was in the swing with Dad pushing him while Mom corralled two other children who were chasing the dog across the lawn.

I didn't stop to take a shot, that's such a privacy no-no but the scene made me smile and remember this one.

Hi Dianne ~~ That's a neat way to put up a swing for the little one. And it is nice and high so that someone has to put her/him in it. I need one to take to our park here. It only has the third of a tire type and KP isn't comfortable with those.

((((HUGS)))) for Hope! :)
Happy MidWeek Blues,

I like that tulip garden. Ruby Tuesday got sacrificed for time here. ;)

It is indeed fun imagining the scene you saw then! Love the colorful swing and wish there had been swings like that when my kids were little! Haven't seen clotheslines in a LONG time! Great post, Dianne! Hope you have a wonderful day!

As you were describing the vision you saw, I was imaging it in the photo.

And smiling too!

"I didn't stop to take a shot, that's such a privacy no-no."

I'm the same way, Dianne. I have this 'thing' about asking before I take a shot with someone in it.

Happy Wednesday, dear lady!

P.S. Great shot!

We have swings in our yard for the GRANgirls and they are red. That blue stands out a lot better.

I remember when my eldest granddaughter was small enough to swing in one just like that... :-))

That just looks like it was waiting for the happy child -- and I am glad to know you saw that it was true! Your description is so good, we didn't really need the picture. Thanks for the smile (and the memories).

That is a really great shot! I conjured up such a visual of that father pushing his child and the children running around the yard...thanks so much!
