It May Not Be Good For You ...

... but it sure is colorful and interesting.

This shop in Red Bank, NJ sells hookahs (pipes that cool the smoke with water) and many flavors of tobacco as well as having a small convenience store on the other side.

Personally, I love the smell of pipe tobacco. And it's ironic you posted this because a few days ago, I was walking down the street behind a man who was smoking a pipe and aroma was faaaaaaabulous!

Great shot, Dianne! The color and texture are awesome!

I know smoking isn't good for you (I've never smoked myself) but when I was growing up one of my girlfriend's fathers smoked a pipe with cherry tobacco. I loved that smell.
Nice find Dianne!

Tobacco Paradise would be a smoker's paradise I suppose. For a reformed smoker going in there would be 'instant sore throat.'

It looks good in blue. I'm wondering if you went in?

Neat little shop, reminds me of a 'head-shop' from the 70's.

I think raw tobacco smells wonderful.

There's a shop like that at the beach near here. Every time I walk by, there are several young people looking glassy-eyed and slack-jawed watching cartoons.

I love the facade of both these buildings.

Thanks so much for your sweet note about Annie. :)

Catching up -- and darn, that looks like Eugene Oregon (or Crescent City California)...bet you could get some good people shots if you hung out in front of there for a while! (I just saw Jeff Bridges on Steven Colbert -- and somehow this store makes me think of his Big Lebowski persona)
