Bonjour Dianne, Great captures of beautiful fences and I like the shadow in your last composition!Feeling like Spring with so beautiful blue sky there! Léia
I really like these traditional beach fences. They are so unique. When in front of dunes you would think they would blow over, but they seem to hold very well. Here they have three....that seems a bit of overkill. Guess they have their reasons. genie
This must be a wild walkway or road to require three different kinds of fencing? Sharp eye to catch this--another of those little mysteries that we see every day.
There aren't too many fences - the snow fence minimizes erosion, so that the beach can be enjoyed by more and more often. Naturally, shadows are a pleasing byproduct of the beach protection system!
Not only 3 fences, but 3 different kinds of fences! Maybe they serve as a high risk danger warning for those who don't realise that there is a sheer drop close by! And lovely shadow patterns! The last one almost looks like a cross pointing to the fences!
Dianne I love that shot of the lone pine tree ! .. and of course the SS shot is perfect too ! We are finally having some Spring weather ! yippeeeee ! Joy

love the slatted fence. :) nice tree and shadows, too! okay, and blue sky! :)
I think I prefer the one with horizontal slats. (if they are asking!)
Seems just a little excessive. :)
I'm sure there's a reason for all parties responsible.
OMG...THREE fences!?!?
Makes for a GREAT shot, though!
LOVE the last photo with both the shadow AND the fences!

Tht first shot is so beautiful...guess they really really want to keep people out!
at least you can get a view through the fences. what a great view!! (:
I guess they really don't want folks to park in the water! :)
I assume the fence is to keep people from falling into the water .. that reflection made me think of the old telegraph poles
Hmmmm 3 fences...I am sure they serve a purpose...love the shadow shot too!

There is a meme for fences? Cool..
lovely photos, but why do they need so many fences!
If people didn't do stupid things, they wouldn't need stupid fencing!
Greetings from Cottage Country!
Nice series -- good eye!
Beautiful composition and view.

How interesting! I guess they really don't want folks getting through the fence(s)!

that's security!
A very reinforced fence, I wonder why so elaborate. Safety is the key!

Well, if you get to the beach, you did it on purpose!
Thanks for the visit. Blessings!
I love the depth of all the fences and posts...lovely!
I guess the message must be "Keep Out, Keep Out, Keep Out"!

Hmmm. Somebody apparently thinks you can not have too many fences. :)
They seem to be pretty adamant about keeping you out! Nice shadow as well.

It took a minute, but then I saw the three fences! Wow, they don't want anyone to go down to the beach, do they? :-)
gorgeous photos.
