Eye Catcher

I was driving home after a long day concentrating solely on the road ahead when a blur of vivid red caught my eye. I came out of my funk and pulled over to walk back a bit and take these two shots ...

I include the 2nd shot because the bird is so still and seems to be staring at the house; I find that so endearing

Green is the color of Spring, but it is everywhere. A flowering shrub of magenta breaks up that sea of green wonderfully!

I freakin' LOVE azaleas, Dianne!

And the color of these are absolutely STUNNING!

Love the little birdie too!

There's an azalea garden not far from where I sit in the park, in which all the azaleas are white. When they're in full bloom, it looks as though they're covered in snow!

X ya, dear lady!

Serious eye candy for me, Dianne. And isn't it always delightful to see flowers in a puddle... it just screams of freshness...

(the prompt at OSI on Sunday was crimson (my suggestion) I posted at the link above for that one. Can never have enough shades of red and pinks, can we? A good way to get out of a funk, I agree.
