Ruby Tuesday: Office Building

I had a job interview Monday morning. I was a bit nervous and worried that I wouldn't find the building. I had to laugh when I pulled into the parking lot.

My very first thought was ...

This is perfect for Ruby Tuesday!

and of course I had my camera with me.

But how did you do in the interview? - hope it went well and they saw and recognised your talents.

kay - thanks :)

linda - it is a pretty building, I love the rounded edges and the huge windows

napaboaniya - thank you so much. happy new year to you too :)

jackie - I have no feel for the interiew at all. the guy was very young and very odd, at one point I thought he was a bit drunk or high!!

Ha, ha, aren't we weird people thinking about RT posts all the time...;)

Hope the interview went well and that both you and they would like you to get the job, now wouldn't that be a neat way to start the new year! Happy New Year from Sweden:)

that's hilarious. Yesterday I rolled up the placemats after dinner and I placed them on the counter I thought - that would make a good picture on my photo blog. I guess it could have qualified for ruby tuesday as it is red.

good luck with your job search.

Of course you had your camera - Never, never go anywhere without your camera! Oh and I think we're Psychicly?, psychically? connected... or maybe you were right, psychotically? connected?

Love the RED! Happy Ruby Tuesday!

I like the red outlining; it gives the building a unique quality.

Hello Dianne,
I agree. I always seems to find motives when I am out. That's why I use my cellphone. maybe i should advance to abetter sharp shooter.

The architects have done a lot with a little red on that building.
That's the way red functions, I've been made aware of these Ruby Tuesdays.
Lots of good chi there.
Hope you got the job!!
A Happy New Year from Felisol

Hello Dianne! I'm glad they decided on some red splashes to make this building more interesting. My camera has become one of those permanent objects about my person :0)

I see Ruby Tuesday shots everywhere I go. And Blue Monday and Monochrome Monday and Watery Wednesday and... well, you get the idea.

One of the greatest things about playing all these is that it teaches us to look around and see what there is to see. Even -- or maybe especially the things that most people miss.

It's a great way to live, na?

When I was features editor at my local newspaper, people used to ask where I got my story ideas. Truth is, it wasn't difficult. Once you train yourself to start looking, you see ideas all over the place. Much like Ruby Tuesday. :)

I'm guessing you were early for your interview since you had time to take photos. I hope the interview went well.

EG CameraGirl said...

Yes, of COuRSE you had your camera! Is there any other way to leave home? LOL

Excellent example of WHY we need to have our cameras with us at all times. This is a very 'kewl' looking building! Thanks for sharing.
Hugs and blessings,

magiceye - thanks. I hope 2009 is a grand old year for us all :)

sara - thanks so much for all the kind words!! I'm glad you liked all my photos - especially Nana's angel :)

rambling - thanks!! it's OK, I think in this economy and at this time of year all the interviewers are exhausted and worried about their own jobs. I used to do HR stuff so I know what the other side of the desk can be like.

Oh Dianne!
It WAS perfect for Ruby Tuesday and you had your camera with you and now all of us, your buddies can enjoy the pictures!
Oh I just love all of the glass. So many windows!
I would hate to work in a place that didn't have windows, like a factory. I have always longed for a window over my kitchen sink but in all of my 36 years of marriage and after living in five houses, I have never had the privilege.
Well Happy New Year dear new friend and I will be talking at you next year!!
Love Terry

I like the last shot in particular - it's the juxtaposition of the tree with the man made building :)
