Hi! Those are really great Photos!! I like the second guy best. He looks like he's waiting for someone! Thanks for stopping by my place. Have a great week-end!
They look a bit cold to me - at least that second one does because he's got that hunkered down look to him. Heck, if I were a bird hanging around in the weather we've been having here, I'd sure be cold!!
Ah, nice to see gulls. Again, I just don't see them here in the mountains because the lack of lakes. Wonderful photos, very clear and crisp details. ~Michele~ Mountain Retreat
The gulls look cold but I'm sure they feel they must keep strict surveillance over the renovations...just in case any of the workers have any French fries. LOL
Wow....i'm not a huge fan of seagulls but your photographs are beautiful! (you can get an ASBOH here if you feed them!) The second one looks to be a baby, if they're anything like the gulls we have here, the plumage is darker and they look bigger and clumsier than the adult birds- weird? Thanks for coming by our blog, we always appreciate comments and feedback and love that blogging has allowed us to meet such a lovely group of folks from all over! Again, great shots, the first one is stunning! Slobbers from a bunch of Scottish Beagles ;o)
apple debbie - they always make me want to go to Atlantic City lol
lilli& - thanks!! :)
michelle - lol! they're probably concerned where the dumpsters will be
babooshka - they are very friendly!
lapa37 - thanks!!

dughallmor - wow! and here I thought he was the elder!! so I thought he was in charge and really they were caring for him - that's cool thanks for such kind words about my photos :)
Seagulls use to be a common sight for me growing up on the New England coastline. Now I an inlander and seldom see them anymore. Your photos brought back the sounds and the scents of the ocean, and some childhood memories at the beach.
vienna - there's a lot going on with the battered looking guy! I thought he was the elder, someone else said he was a baby. As I watched him he seemed in charge and he seemed to have a lot to do lol
ladybanana - that's usually what happens to me too but these gulls are so used to us - sometimes they're friendly and sometimes they ignore but they never leave :)
tina - my new camera does have a better zoom but they did let me get close
willthink4 - what a lovely comment, I'm so glad my photos did that :)
salty - thanks! :)
fishing guy - thanks a lot!!
gattina - I think they're babies based on what others have said.
Wonderful photos! It's windy here too, but not cold. I'm so thrilled to be able to 'capture' birds in flight with my new camera. I think you might have seen my pelicans at Small Reflections already. Thanks for the visit. Hugs and blessings,
They're so graceful in the air but sometimes seem a bit awkward and clunky when not.I love photographing gulls but coming up their id is sometimes really difficult. Also I love the setting here. Great camera critters!

wil - I agree, as pretty as the rest of the place is I love watching the gulls
cece - lucky for them the place is busy all year round and everyone feeds them
The bottom fella looks a bit mean - I wouldn't want to be eating chips near him!
jackie - he was just hunkering down - the wind was right in his face
I also think he's one of the older guys - he seemed to be in charge
I love how you can see the details in the coloring!

It's probably too cold for seagulls here right now.
Thanks for stopping by :)
Nice shots of the local inhabitants!

pam - I did a Wordzzle this week for the first time in weeks - it's on the other blog :)
sherrie - I like him too :)
he's a tough old bird

michele - I'm so glad they came out as good as they did, the wind was making me shake!
Great shots.!!!!
Living by the sea in New Zealand, I was used to seagulls.
Imagine my surprise, when I moved here to Reno, to find seagulls everywhere....especially since we were miles inland.
Beautiful shots of the seagulls... they make me want to head down to the beach. Thanks for stopping by!
Great shot you got of them.
These guys are probably keeping track of renovations too. :-)
Compared to the ones we get here these guys re well behaved.
Pretty pictures I really like the fist one.
The gulls look cold but I'm sure they feel they must keep strict surveillance over the renovations...just in case any of the workers have any French fries. LOL
Great photo's.
Thanks for sharing and thanks for commenting on my blog!!
Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
I love going to the marina's too to search for and enjoy watching wildlife.

I love watching gulls -- how they soar through the air. These fellows are quite handsome!

Gulls are always such pretty and willing subjects. No waterfront would be complete without them. Nice shots you have here.
Dianne: Beautiful shots of the gulls, nicely done.
Are this seegull babies, they look so small compared to the once I have seen in England ! They look so cute !
So nice of them to pose for you! Marinas are such great place to get candid shots.
