Looking At the Sky On Friday: As Far As The Eye Can See

Standing there looking up at this made me feel that the world is infinitely beautiful and endlessly mysterious.

Nature does wonders for the spirit.

The varied cloud formations are limited only by the imagination we can muster to figure out the shapes upstairs. Texture and depth are up there, the gray rough yet combined with the minimal blue makes for a comforting view. The mass of dark clouds is not so threatening when a we bit of blue is introduced...

Love this photo. The variety of light and the contrast of the underside of the clouds is really nice. Well done.

This picture has so much depth. I love how the clouds go as far as the eye can see but the blue sky and sunlight have so many places to peak through. We truly have a creator.

If it weren't for the trees,I'd almost feel as if I am looking down on our beautiful planet. There is a sense of curve.

The world is mysterious and beautiful, isn't it? Even when scientists try to explain it, the mystery remains. I like this lovely photo.

Soothing, skies are soothing .. no matter how cranky the clouds look, knowing it goes on forever past the limits of our physical eye is comforting .. soothing .. helps me let go of ... well the stuff one should shrug off but often we cant.

My kids are all of the time telling me to look at the "insert something off the wall" in the sky. I am like, WHAT?!?! Then they point out that a cloud looks like some sort of object. It's never ending, but oh what fun!

Great shot. Thanks for playing.

Happy Friday!!!

I agree that nature does wonders for the spirit. Cats are a part of nature ;-) and they help me every day.

Dramatic clouds you've captured; but the blue sky tempers them a bit.

Hope you have a great weekend.
